The American Diner opened its first restaurant in Ohio in February of 1958, following Steve Middelton's passion for good American food.
The response was immediate. The clever mix of 50 different types of burgers, french fries, rock and roll, and cars, reminiscent of the American Graffiti movie, was a success.
The diners are still strongly inspired by the diners and fast food restaurants of that time period.
The menu features a wide variety of dishes with unbeatable prices. It's an ideal place for a dinner with friends or for a quick lunch before returning to work.
With 61 national and 15 local franchises, The American Diner has become a case of entrepreneurial success, characterized by quality, courtesy and great customer service.
The restaurant is open every day from 6:30 a.m until 11:30 p.m.
